The dbNSFP database and its related web service are under active development by Genos Bioinformatics LLC, a company co-founded by two experienced computational genomic scientists, Dr. Xiaoming Liu (USF, Liu lab and Google Scholar) and Jin Yu (LinkedIn and Google Scholar), in Texas, USA in 2024.

Throughout this endeavor, we are aiming to establish a sustainable business model that supports the long-term development of bioinformatics tools and resources, benefiting both the scientific community and the general public.
